All Purpose Chairs are chairs that can be
reclined and or used for washing hair, waxing, tattooing, facials and many other
things not even for the beauty industry. These are great chairs and are all
stable.
Now a few things about all purpose chairs.
1. They cost more due to more materials needed to make
it into a chair as such.
2. They SHOULD NOT have STAR bases, too unstable and will get you sued.
3. Some are less than others due to the mechanism for reclining used in some.
4. The two mechanism's are Air cylinder with a button and the type with a
Bracket in chair back and lever on the side.
5. Better made models have Levers and do not have air cylinders, they
break easier.
6. Below is the most frequent
question asked about these types of chairs-
Q- Which chair can be used as an all purpose
chair?
A- Simple- 95% of all purpose chairs have arms that
do not touch the back cushion of the chair. I call these "broken arms"- Meaning
the arm does not touch the back and is not solid. It has a gap or is attached
under the chair rather than the back. If a chair does have arms that touch the
back check it carefully, there are some REALLY bad models around now.
